I was fine with the score and the playcall. Was Miles? I'm not sure, but I'm enjoying the heck out of beating the heck out of teams this year. Next up: AU.

I agree it's much better then the 07 version of this team which had one heart wrenching game after another down the stretch.

Many years ago, in the Dallas Cowboy hey day when Aikman was QB and the Cowboys ruled everyone, someone asked Jerry Jones about the Cowboys running up the score. Jerry Jones' reply was, "well, maybe they should get better players." While I think Miles was bothered by the final TD, and respecting the opponent is at his core, we did not score to rub it in. That TD was just the natural progression and end point to yet another long drive for the Tigers. IF Miles was too concerned about running up the score, he should have put Stamply in at TB and run him 3 times then punted. IF he was worried about running up the score, he should have replaced Lee/Jefferson with our 3rd string QB, Mettenberger, and let him hand it off. As it is, you can NOT keep the starters in the game, call plays and ask the players to not score or not do their best. You can't have it both ways. So, in effect, Miles is responsible for the last score for not playing some 3rd stringers and letting them get 7 minutes of experience.

I'll keep hammering in this stat, Les has played 79 players this year, with limits of 85, many players are Walk-ons. In the Tenn game a few w/o's got in and played well. Les could have broke 50 if he wanted, they backed off on both sides of the ball.

I would love to hang 50 on the barn. Les won't do that. If I remember correctly, au took a few knees last year when they were in the red zone to finish the game. They didn't try and run the score up on us. I know it is hard to believe being auburn.
