LSU is beat up and emotionally drained. This loss will have carry over till 2008. You spread the LSU D out and they cannot get a pass rush. LSU DBs are good, but not great. LSU offense will continue to struggle. Flynn is not a championship-caliber quarterback. Doucet won't be 100 percent till he's playing in the NFL. The rest of the receivers are barely SEC caliber. Kentucky's receivers make LSU's look like chumps, not champs. LSU loses one more regular season game minimum, then gets handled in a bowl game. I hope I'm wrong, though.
Who's going to "handle" LSU in a bowl game? I'd put LSU against the best of any conference and watch them stomp a mudhole in that team. Do you really think that Ohio St. could beat LSU? They don't have near the speed and I hate to say it but they are probably going to be #1 in about 15 minutes. It's just tough because the Tigers play in the toughest (by far) conference in the NCAA.
NO! You are just down because of the loss, like we all are. Don't worry, Cal got beat, others will get beat, and after we beat AU everything will be looking up! GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!
Personally, I love (on this board and others) all the bellyaching about our "struggling offense" that put up 28 points last week against a very good Florida team, and put up 38 ****ing points this week. :dis: I'll admit that our offense hasn't been firing on all cylinders, but to call it "struggling" when it's put up 66 points in two games against SEC opponents is something I think is laughable. But it's good to see that LSU's fanbase is just as good as everyone else's in their meltdowns afer a loss.
They'll get handled in a bowl game, but not necessarily by a better team. They'll simply have a tough time getting up for it because another team will have won the SEC, and two other teams will be playing on January 7th.
