J.R. Smith was a real brightspot for the Hornets. About the knee thing, yeah I had no room. But at least my seat wasn't broken. The renovations look good!
I watched about 3 minutes of the first quarter, what a showing they had, they must have had like 200 people there.
Probably around 6-7 thousand. About the same amount, if not more, I usually see at LSU basketball games.
CP3 is going to be GOOD for the Hornets... he passed it around to everyone really well last night... At the same time, CP3 and Claxton is WAY too small of a guard combo... The big guards in the West, (Kobe, TMac) will eat that for lunch
From lsusports.net: "Seats 13,472 spectators after $5 million renovation to concourse and seating areas."
So LSU lost seats from the previous capacity of 14,164 yet there is less leg room in most of the seats. Also, regarding the low early attendance, I heard the will call window was swamped. Some people walked in and sat next to us with 5 minutes left in the second quarter saying there were still people in line waiting to pick up their tickets.
