Anyone in the ark construction business?

    It's time to start loading up the cattle, oxen, goats, horses, sheep and other farm animals because Houma is about to float way!

    I cannot remember a longer period of sustained, heavy rain than what we are getting right now.

    One fugged up weekend!

    Although it was very light, it rained just about all day yesterday here in Lafayette. It has rained steady and heavier all day today so far. Predicted 60% tomorrow. My son, who is in the fourth grade (assuming the rain stops) has a football game @ noon. No less than two games will take place on the field that he has to play on before his game. That is going to be one chewed up field. We're already dubbing it the "Mud Bowl" Things would be a mess if the Tigers played at home tomorrow.

    No kidding. And I'm not interested in seeing LSU play another good team on a wet field. I saw enough of that with Oregon State.

    Turns out they aren't so good after the drubbings against Cal and Boise though.... :dis:
