Sorry I am one who cannot blame this on miles.... I know that is the defector answer. But les doesn't play... The guys on offense just are not good.i don't see bad play calling its possible our players on o just are not that good... But guys I would brace ourselves, next week could be a blood letting....
We as fans should be far past the point where games like tonight are continuously excused. The LSU fan base, or at least the majority of forum posters, continue to readily insert the varying cliches like "this games is meaningless". That's just one of the many cliches constantly utilized to excuse subpar performance by LSU. Anytime the team is on the field is important and LSU never plays that way. I fault the team's leader for that. I'm glad to see you along with others actually speaking sense. Tonight's play is just pathetic. LSU, I mean Les Miles, deserves to lose with the complete apathy that the team is displaying tonight. I hope we win solely for the players. LSU's coming drop in the polls comes with an abundance of merit. And here it goes going into the half, Les with his own favorite cliche. We all know what it is, we have to eliminate the sloppiness. No, Les Miles needs to eliminate the sloppiness that epitomizes his coaching. He's adequately proved that as an impossibility though. Brace for the upcoming games.
So you can't blame Miles for 5 continuous years of complete stagnation on the offensive side of the football?
I think if LSU started the season ranked #8-#12 like they probably should have, it wouldn't be as bad. But even though it's our offense who is struggling "like always" there will still be a lot of talk about losing TM7 which really has nothing to do with our issues. Our O-Line injuries have us in a deep hole (similar to to OU) but our defense keeps us dangerous, unlike OU. But this O-Line will keep us out of the BCSNCG and most likely the SEC championship. And please understand, I'm not being negative, or angry, I just do not think some people understand how impactful the O-Line is.
Can we blame him for 13 1 records sec championships 30 straight ooc wins and the best record in LSU history??.?.
Cool. Last week I got eaten alive for not pumping sunshine. One other thing about this years squad that we didnt see last year, it seems like we lose the turnover battle evey week! That's very frustrating
that's the juvenile i know you are but what am i answer that always comes out when anyone says anything critical of Les Miles. I am a supporter of Miles, I have given him tons of credit where credit is due. But offensive coordinators have changed, quarterbacks have changed, and still the same ole offense. The common denominator is Les Miles. I'm not saying fire the guy, or he is now on the hot seat or even should be, but he needs to realize that his offense, the offense he controls, sucks, and we need go out, get the best OC we can find, and give that guy complete control of the offense.
Some will credit him. But some credit the chief, his great defense, and the pure athletic talent LSU gets year in and year out. Until LSU gets another good coach we will truly never know. (I am NOT saying fire CLM) but I would love a better offense. I mean, for the love of God, WTF do we need to do to have an offense who can consistently sustain drives, and be a threat for opposing teams?? We don't even threaten shitty teams like townson, that's pretty sad
