Auburn now has to hope for an OU or USC loss. Very sad. The voters suck. LSU is about where they should be after yesterday's horrible performance.
I got this from CBS Sportsline and they don't show the first place votes. But in looking at it, looks like all the voters voted the exact same way, except 5 voters switched OU to being #1 over USC. I find that simply amazing.
Thats disgusting. Both Miami and Michigan lost to two unranked teams. We lost to the #3 ranked team (what may deserve to be #1) by 1 point, and Georgia, the #8 ranked team...How Miami is 9 and Michigan is still ahead of us blows my mind.
BECAUSE LSU TOTALLY STUNK AGAINST TROY AND OLE MISS. That's why. LSU is #8 in the nation right now if they had taken care of business. And there is a reason we stunk in those game and others. We just aren't that great. And thus we belong somewhere around 14, and not 8. That's the difference.
No, last year's Ole Miss team was very good. And we went to Ole Miss in a hostile environment and won. It wasn't our prettiest win last year, but it was impressive from all other aspects I just mentioned. In that respect, you get rewarded accordingly. So there's a great comparison as to when a close win is a great win. This one last night is NOT. Not in your wildest dreams. People need to shed them blinders they got on.
I agree with you again. I don't agree that Auburn deserves a bump after trailing at the half against Alabama.
