Auburn should have scored a TD right before half and ended the game with a TD.

35-6 final. Then we would be talking real controversy in the BCS. BCS officials are breathing somewhat easier right now.

Alabama can honestly say that they did just enough to prevent Auburn from getting to the NC game. So big moral victory for them.

I still don't understand how any Div. I team from a BCS conference who goes undefeated would be slighted for the national title. If this season plays out and OU v. USC in the Orange Bowl and Auburn plays whoever and wins to stay undefeated, college football cannot "leave" them out. I just can't figure how they will work in after the bowls... maybe two crystal footballs ???

The ACC "homers" switched room Fla. St. to Va. Tech. and Miami. The Big 10 "homers" switched from Michigan to Iowa.

Also, why doesnt anyone give any credit to Urban Meyers and the Utes... I believe that they have a good arguement with Auburn, OU, and USC to have a 4+1 bowl scheme.

OK. We get it. You are not impressed with LSU's season and winning games is simply not enough to please you. But, 6 references to it in the same thread following about 20 more since yesterday? Why don't you follow your own rules and confine your bitching to one thread?

Saban fan is right on that one.

Hey the problem isnt where we are ranked, it's where Miami and UGA are ranked. UGA and miami = two highest overrated teams in the nation.

I couldn't agree more with you on this Sabanfan.

Islstl, why not try congratulating the team instead of tearing them down? It's not that we have blinders on. Everyone knows this team has problems at QB and in the kicking game, but we still have to be supportive. Don't you admire the heart that they show to consistently overcome adversity? Ole Myth is arguably one of our biggest rivals and the always play us tough. Why not just be satisifed with the result? I'll take an "ugly" WIN any day of the week. Go easy bro.

Congratulations to the LSU football team on their win last night.

It wasn't pretty, but that doesn't matter, it's all about the 'W' baby.

Undefeated at home since 1972. Way to go Nick and the gang.

And to maybe the best group of seniors ever at LSU (even though it's quite a small class), good luck in all your endeavors in the future.

    Ahhh.....that felt good.

    Thanks fanatic. You've cured me!

Take off the P&G glasses dude. Squeaking out a win over a pitiful bunch like Ole Piss is pathetic. This team has problems from Saban on down. We'll be lucky to be in the pre-season top 20 next year. (role reversal :D )

You know it wasn't pretty, but it doesn't matter . . . this is big for these Sr's. It's not easy to go undefeated at home, and for all the advantages we have at Tiger Stadium . . . to do it for the first time since '72 will be special for these players.
