AP Preseason Poll Out

Ohio State is the biggest joke in the Top 5 IMO

 

It's interesting that the team that was ranked #3 in the pre-season AP poll hasn't been in the top four at the end of the season in every year of the BCS era.

Perhaps the pollsters are dumb like a fox?

 

For the top 3? Damn skippy. Every year, we hear about how that year's Oregon team was different than the one the year before, yet they continue to play themselves out of contention.

And in how many of those "last 5 regular seasons" was Helfrich the coach? Seems to me they had some real character issues last year.

Never forget what the '03 AP Poll did. Never care what the AP Poll says.

 

Damn. ESPN Stats and Info used Oregon as their example in this blog entry as well. It's a poorly worded sentence. They finished fifth in the BCS rankings and I assume that's what they were intending to point out.

 

That's why in my book if you run the table in the SEC you ARE the best team in the country!!!

 

I remember people saying that LSU was gonna have problem with their offense, team speed, hurry up, etc. Final 40-27. No one else put up 40 on them that year. An no one else held them to 27 pts that year.
