    LSU is #14
I think it is a pretty accurate poll.

    When was the last time

    Wow how things change!

Not very often you see these teams listed in the "Others receiving votes" category to start the season:

    Florida 79,
    Nebraska 68,
    Penn St. 56,
    Texas A&M 40,
    Alabama 33,
    Colorado 27,
    Arkansas 26,

I wonder when was the last time that Florida, Nebraska, Penn St, ATM and Bama were all not ranked to start the season?

And look who is getting "some" notice:
    Miami (Ohio) 5,
    Southern Miss. 3,

I think Maimi of Ohio's QB is getting them some early notice.

I still think 14/15 is a good place for this team to start.

I am very surprised Bama is not ranked in the top 25 since last year we finished around #10 and returned 17 starters.

Pollsters are probably scared off because of probabtion and coaching problems. With Coach Fran the Tide is a Top 25 team, with Price it would be debatable but not absurd, now with Shula its just iffy. Bama is the questionmark in the West this year, it really could go either way.

Oh, I definately understand why we aren't in the top 25 I just thought that we would be in at #25 though.

You are absolute Bama is a HUGE ? this year with Shula. As a Bama fan I have to believe we will be alright.
