Hey, maybe Bebe should build a fence around Lafayette County first and make it a DRY county to be doubly sure.

Cut signed on as QB coach for ND, but subsequently resigned due to health problems this summer. This happened in June, so I don't think he's gone back to work yet.

Last I heard Cut's taking time off and being a half-coach ("consultant" I believe is the term) for Tennessee.

What ever happenned to that Jarrel Powe guy that was an LSU commit and changed to Ole Miss.

Did he ever get his education squared away to qualify?

I think I read somewhere where there was a total of 8 freshman from Orgeron's first recruiting class that are no longer on the team from either quiting, not being eligible or whatever.

The rebel fans are not worried about Oregeron. In fact they are glad that he is there. Cut may have been successful and it helped having Eli, but Ole Miss overachieved Eli's last year. Eli called the game and his recruiting wasn't that great. The biggest gripe with the Ole Miss faithful was that the team lacked intensity and that came from the coaching staff. The coaching staff was too nice and more of friends than coaches. Most of Ole Miss was tired of 7-4 and 6-5. Ole Miss may never be any better than that anyway. I know that we will be all over Miles and this board would call for his job. Cutcliffe never got excited, like we all know that Saban would get, and didn't have the attention that the LSU guys had under Saban. His personality was real dry and didn't do real well with the Alumni.

Orgeron had one month to recruit. Two guys didnt qualify. Powe for one., One kicked off the first day on campus, two quit because he has incoming freshmen higher on the depth chart then they were, would have ridden the pine anyway

He might not do as well as Cutcliffe but probably want do any worse
and he has the alumni excited about football again. Even when Ole Miss had Eli, there wasn't that much excitement for an upcoming season. The best seaon Ole miss had was Eli's last and last year was laughable. They have 11 commits already and Cutcliffe didn't have 11 the day before the signing day after they had there best season. AS long as he doesn't screw around with the office staff, he may last longer than Curley!
