Google and the other search engines attach more weighted relevance to a thread than a post within a thread. By starting threads and posting links from other sources (in SEO I think they are called backlinks) it gives more likelihood that anybody doing a search for Hillary Clinton will find more negative information than positive, not that it's hard to find the negative. If it has any influence at all then Izzy is performing a valuable public service and if it has the slightest effect on causing her not to become president then it's all for the common good.
