Are mobile phones wiping out our bees?

    Who says it is dishonest? I agree that many people (politicians & public figures specificially) try to portray a high level of empathy - often one higher than what they truly feel. But that doesn't mean that all empathy is not sincere.

    of course. virtually everyone does this. so much so that when i don't do it it seems like an oddity. most people like to think of themselves as far more selfless and concerned than they are.

    obvious and uncontested.

    Well, I'm still waiting.

    I don't do it. I genuinely want to see the human species live on & do care. And yet I am still openly selfish & generally un-concerned. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

    we really dodged a bullet there.

    in semi related disease news, i had the queens/mexican swine flu and it was miserable. although i guess it was probably just regular flu. the good news is that both the bees and the martins have survived.
