That snide remark was made more tongue in cheek sarcastic than anything. Was it out of line? Probably. I actually enjoy reading most of the opinions on here, until it turns into "Aubarn sucks" and making fun of that stupid rings that were made for the team. At that point, I choose not to reply. I was making the comment more about cajdav's reasoned, logical argument instead of trying to bash the forum as a whole. That was an afterthought. An ill-advised one, as it turns out. Most of the regulars here are what I perceive as reasonable people and you are correct, I shouldn't have made the back handed compliment to Cajdav. I know some of my Auburn brethren might perceive this as being a suck up to the LSU people here, but the fact is, I enjoy most of the comments and conversation and usually ignore the parts I don't. So, while not apologizing for the comment, I will hope that the explanation above will soothe some of the ruffled feathers (or fins).
Nobody talks to me like that when I'm around - Dakota McGee I am not a blind homer. I get pissed when LSU loses as much as anybody. I have my thoughts about what may or may not have been done differently, but I also recognize that criticism from those without all of the facts is useless. It wouldn't hurt to throw in an atta boy once in a while either. It keeps things on the level.

I wanted to delete this thread last night, but after reading the last two pages I am glad I did not. I now know that GRad has access to a sportsforum digest that has all the skinny on our posts on other boards, that there is life outside of this site, that peoples opinions can differ from SabanFan's, that he still will call it the way he sees it, and there is a distinct difference between your and you're. i think Smoke is a good coach, but he is a little over his head in the SEC......for right now. Give him the length of his contract and you will praise the ground he walks on like martin's wizard. by the way, thanks for the red tirk. :thumb:
