I don't know if I'd consider it fear. I call it realism. You act like we are the only team with a good defense. Alabama's defense has actually played better than ours this year, so I don't think defense is a big enough advantage by itself to win the game for us. That's all...

The team has given us plenty of reason to have "fear". If you've watched every game up until now, you'd be lying if you said you didn't have concerns about our remaining opponents.

BTW, I agree with Atreus about us playing a less than stellar game against Vandy. Yes, we did win and by a somewhat comfortable margin, but it just wasn't completely convincing.

None the less, I still believe we can win out. :geaux:

The answer to the question is yes, we are capable of winning out. LSU is capable of beating anyone.

To be honest, tho, it's only fair to point out that Vandy's not as much of a pushover this year as they have been previously. Didn't they beat MSU, and put 17 on UF? They've improved lately.

Capable? Yes. Will we? No. One more loss at least and if we can't find a fix for the turnovers I look for 2.

Yes we can, and yes we will. I'm sure LSU will have the fire and focus needed in the next four ball games to win.

We have a good chance of winning out, yet I don't see us just smoking any of the three opponents.

We can win out and we probably will. LSU will show up for the big games, and no matter what rank they are, alabama in my eyes is always a big game. Ole Miss is a much hated team to LSU so that will be a big game and then we play arkansas for the boot, another big game.

yeah, but they forgot to show up for the georgia game this season. i like having the alabama game at home (even with alabama's winning record at tiger stadium); however, winning out is a toss-up at this point. we could hit the skids with any of the teams left on the schedule (even ole miss, but that is highly unlikely).

not trying to be a pessimist, but just being rational. lsu doesn't always show up for the big games...plain and simple. this offense is too streaky to say we are surely going to win out. i'd say at this point, probably a 60-70% chance we'll go 9-2 heading into a cotton bowl or peach bowl game.
