He ran for 218 on 27 carries. That's just over 8 yards per carry. So yeah... He's good.

I like the real tigers(LSU) in this one. Although, we can never overlook our little brothers in the West.

If Auburn plans on ruling the West this decade, you guys have some catching up to do.

Welcome to the board! We have a lot of fun here, talking football.

Iron's is the best returning back in the league, IMO. If I was a betting man, I'd bet he does not get 200 on us again this year. We lost 3 starters out of our D-line to the NFL, but Glen Dorsey had plenty of playing time last year, and he's stepping up. Marlon Favorite will be solid. We have quality players who will have to step up, and I expect they will. Our linebackers will be younger, and faster than last season. Our whole defense has had a year in the new defense of Coach Pelini, so they should not be out of position as much as they were early last year.

I don't think the world has seen the best that Jamarcus Russell has to offer. Last year he got a needed year of experience. Usually you see some development going into his Jr. season. The core of his receiver corp is back, some say better than last year. We have injured players returning at running back, but if they return to form, we'll be ok, or maybe a surprise from one of our freshmen backs will step up.

I expect a close game, as has been the case for these two teams for quite a while. At your stadium, call it a toss-up before a game has been played.

The winner of this game will be in the drivers seat for the west.

Actually, with the exception of the last two years, the games haven't been that close.

Don't bring that up. I purposely didn't post the score's. Let's just stick to "W" and "L". :hihi:

No worries, we still lead the all-time head to head series. So regardless of how lopsided the scores, at least we know we were on the winning side more often than not.:hihi: :thumb:

I believe Kenny will have a good game...that is if he runs away from Glen Dorsey.

I dont expect a game like last year. Though, I didnt expect it last year either.

Head to Head yes. But we got 3 West titles so far this decade, those other guys only have 2. Best they can do id tie us in that department. Of course, we're one up in these :crystal: too.

I keep reading a lot on how good the D looks this year. They kept improving and maturing last year, so if all reports are correct, they should be pretty formidable this year. Given that, my answer to the original question would be "no".

Oh. And get over the corn dog thing. It is old, not unique, and quite childish. Take note of your fellow Aubies around here. Most of which I like and respect, despite the fact that I despise Auburn. (Y'all represent your school well!)

That being said, welcome to the board.
