   Two bills? I don't think so, Jethro. :dis: Anybody even remotely close to the LSU understands two things about their D.... One, they have a respectful measure of Pride. Secondly, and the only thing they have more of than Pride, is Talent. :thumb: if there's one thing this season that I would consider "betting the farm" on, it's that Kenny Irons WILL NOT get 200 yards again against Pellini. That was a freak and an embarrassment that Pellini took very seriously. Go back and look at the press clippings. In fact, I'd place the over / under on KI at 105 rushing yards. And i'd seriously consider taking the under, 'cause Kenny will need near 30 carries to obtain that much (net). If I were Borges, I'd be looking at working the TE's till they drop. IMHO, following the LSU-AU game, fans across the SEC are going to know the name "Prechae Rodriguez."
Catching up to us :thumb: Auburn = West champs '00 & '04 LSU = West champs '01,'03,'05 Auburn = SEC champs '04 LSU = SEC champs '01 & '03 Auburn = 0 :crystal: LSU = 1 :crystal:
Auburn is certainly the toughest opponent this season but if you're asking whether LSU is scared of Jordan-Hare or if I'm worried about this game specifically because of the atmosphere at Jordan-Hare, well, I'm not. Neyland and the swamp are tougher venues (when speaking with regard to the stadium and crowd atmosphere.)
Y'know, we use "Tiger Bait" becasue we ARE the Tigers. What are you? War Eagle, errr Plainsmen, errrr Tigers... Why is your mascot an eagle and not a tiger? BTW red is right. The corndogs reference is pretty pitiful. Like calling AU fans the wienerschnitzels...or the brats...
You must be the arithmetic man - you add trouble, subtract pleasure, divide attention, and multiply ignorance.
You can spin things as good as a bammer. The SEC record and the face to face games tell the story. If the other fringes make you feel better so be it. If I was a Florida fan, I might still be trying to take solace in the fact the we beat the 2003 MNC.
If you're speaking of ruling the west, then the only relevant stat is western division championships. In which case either LSU or AU could easily "rule the west this decade".
