That thought definitely crossed my mind, but then I awoke when Will Herring dislodged Alley's helmet at the line-of-scrimmage :hihi: No foolin', Alley isn't flying underneath anybody's radar......now, JV..... that's another matter.
it's all about the Oh ...... O-Line, that is. An argument can be made that AB & JV are one of the best tandems, perhaps better than Irons, Lester. But until I see JV in action, I won't speculate as to whether he's "back" just yet. Doesn't matter .... McFadden, Jones, and Hillis are the head-n-shoulders talent in the conference today, IMHO.
I have to agree totally. I will say the hogs have the best backfield. Fortunately, they dont have a QB as of yet.
See above post. The hogs don't have any kind of backfield until McFadden proves he's back, when he get's back.
I think the correct question to this thread should have read: "Is Jordan-Hare ready for LSU?" ...followed by, "Can Auburn's kicker actually MAKE a FG this time?"
I wish this were true, but Hillis and Jones are as good a tandem as ours or Auburn. Jones actually had more yard per carry than McFadden last year. He flat broke alot of runs for big yards. Hillis, well he can run, catch and punish. As far has McFadden, the necks up on the hill report he is already walking around (as of monday) without the pin or safety boot. He did say in todays paper it hurts alot more than he expected when he is rehabing it. He wont be around for USC but he will be by week 3. Anyway, we should be able to handle who ever they throw at us!
