He came in with no pressure on him at all. If he threw an interception or missed throws no one is blaming him for a loss. You'd be surprised what no pressure can do for building confidence. He ripped up a defense that had destroyed the person starting over him. He knows he's the starter now, the team knows it, let's hope Cam and Les know it.
No. Harris wasn't playing against the same D as Jennings and was put in to play a totally different role. We have young players at key spots. And we can't punch one into the end zone with 4 chances. Compare our line to moos. One of the two sucks. Not overly impressed with our RBs either. Or our LBs as has been stated by others in the past. Looks like a rough year. I actually like Mullen and am happy for him. Hope he has a break out year.
You are right.........and if he doesn't make the change, QB no improvement, we may win 1 game in the West.
Jennings was missing wide open people, and after the first score their first team defense came back in.
Who gives a shit what D was in, Jennings missed WIDE OPEN guys all night. I mean, it's like some of you LOOK for reasons to NOT say certain LSU players just are not good enough. Harris has loads more potential that Jennings.
I still don't think he will be the starter just yet but it's on it's way. I feel bad for Jennings because he seems like a good kid and he has skill. But he plays like the type that needs to be the one and only guy and Harris is too good to allow that. I kind of figured he would take over around mid season. Seems to be coming true. Harris plays like he's gonna be a major star. Jennings plays like he knows he's keeping the spot warm for someone else.
