if believing in a supreme being is stupid then so to is not believing in a supreme being. in the absence of empirical evidence one way or another, it is stupid, by your definition of stupid, to assume either. so if I am stupid to suggest that believing that this supreme being does exist, you are equally stupid to rebut my claim, since there is no hard scientific evidence either way.
