Tigers secondary/defense should demolish Arkansas, I just hope the players can keep their focus for the remainder of the season.

And what would LSU be looking past Arky for? The SECCG? Not a chance. This will be the game to punch our ticket.

I'll worry about Arky when it is time to worry about them. In the meantime, I continue to watch them. They have been lucky little ****s recently. I'm glad the game is in BR this year, as Arky seems to play better at home than on the road. If we were to lose to Arky after beating Oregon and Bama, it would be a disaster if it kicked us out of the SECCG and the BCSNCG. I can't see LSU blowing all that in one shot - not this year. Yes, I'm aware of what happened in 2007, but we needed a lot of "creative" play-calling to get through the SEC that year. This year has been straight up, smash mouth football.

I am proud to say, I have been awarded the Governor's award from Arkansas...it's called the Arkansas Traveler and the certificate is signed by, then governor, Bill Clinton.

(I am having it re-framed to include my picture with Jennifer Flowers.)

Tyler Wilson lets his passes float when he throws them long, and they usually end up short. Our corners will eat that **** up.

It's the short game where he's most dangerous. If Mo and/or TM7 can lock down Jarius Wright, then they won't even score against us.

Some of you guys seem to think I'm an Arkansas fan.

    I'm not.

I'm a HUGE LSU fan and have been for many years.
I have seen LSU blow it at the end of the season against Arkansas too many times.

When Arkansas comes to town they play above and beyond their capabilities. They play LSU harder than any other SEC team. LSU has a HUGE target on their backs that screams NUMBER 1 AND HEADED TO THE BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Trust me when I tell you, they WILL come to play. LSU damn well better not overlook them.

I agree that this is the best LSU team I have ever seen.
I have never seen an LSU defense this good. Some say a professional level D.
I have to agree with that after what I saw Saturday night. Defense WON THAT GAME.
To me, IT WAS INDEED the game of the century.

LSU has FIVE more games before they have bragging rights, to anything. And don't overlook Georgia either.

Ya know .. this is what bothers me. Yes, Defense won that game, against a pretty lackluster offense.

Both Bama and LSU's defense are designed to stop the very style of offense that Bama and LSU run. Only problem is, neither LSU nor Bama have the high octane offenses of other teams.

Even AR has a higher powered offense than either Bama or LSU. Bama played AR before D. Johnson got moving .. which at least pretends to add a run dimension to the game. ARs main problem is they have no defense.

I'm not taking them for granted ... LSU is going to have to have even better defensive play against AR than they did against Bama. .. IMO.

.. and of course, I think LSU will rise to that challenge quite well.
