Man, that looks bad. They do appear in meltdown. I really don't care about it, but its not often you see a program in such disaray, since Bama was on probation.

    Just a thought...

But considering Larry Coker is from OK, and he's looking for work (I suppose) I wonder if he'll receive any consideration for the OC job there...he would probably be a decent fit for recruiting. Heck, he pulled Shockley out of the state.

Well with the runners they have coming back, we don't want too good of a OC up there now, do we? :)

So WHO was supposed to throw all those passes that the jackasses wanted?

Did you SEE the quality of the qbs?

C'mon. This is ridiculous. Mustain was a true freshman. The SEC would have KILLED him if they tried to run a passing offense this year. Nutt did a great job to get them to Atlanta without any qb's.

And just remember - when Saban left LSU - who did he recommend as his replacement --- Houston Nutt.

Thankfully LSU did not listen to Saban that time.

Nutt is a crazed lunatic. Broyles is complicit. Arkansas will be down for years to come after McFadden bolts for the NFL. Things are going to **** in a hurry in NWA.

Things must be really bad up there if Mulzahn is leaving to go to a smaller school for the same amount of money and roughly the same title.

From an outsider's perspective, (mine), the best QB the Hogs had was McFadden. In fact, he was by far the best player they had. For Nutt to go away from the Mustain led offense to a McFadden led offense seems like a no brainer to me. He'd be a fool not to do this. I'm still amazed that these kids and their parents have the audacity to impose their will on the program. This isn't Pop Warner, here. Prove yourselves on the field, and get your FREE education. If you don't prove yourselves on the field, get your FREE education and move on, and SHUTUP.

I completely understand that point of view from an outsider. Without knowing some background, a lot of people have gotten the impression that Mustain and Damien Williams are just spoiled kids with meddling parents. Nothing could be farther from the truth, though. The families involved are solid, good people. You only have to hear Williams or Mustain interviewed to get a picture of what type of people they are.

During the recruiting process, they were both talked into coming to Fayetteville by flat-out lies told by Nutt. As was Malzhan. They were told in no uncertain terms that Malzahn would be in charge of the offense, and to quote Nutt would "let him go". None of this came to pass, and as time went by, and Nutt felt more confident in retaining his job, he began to strip Malzahn's authority little by little. It came to a head last weekend when Nutt informed him he was bringing in David Lee as "co-offensive coordinator" or some such nonsense. Basically, Nutt was going to demote the Rivals OC of the year to a booth, postion coach.

As far as giving the ball to our backs, I agree. It's a no-brainer. McFadden and Jones have to have their touches. There is no reason why they couldn't be just as effective in another formation other than power-I though. The misconception about Malzahns offense is that it is a TTech style pass-happy offense. The Hurry-Up-No-Huddle was used by him throughout his career, and many games, runs outnumbered passes.

    Hogcalls--

Are the kids really that upset about Mulzahn not having total authority or were the 'lies' related to the type of offense the hogs would run? I assumed the later but have no knowledge about what is going on.
