Or we could just assign him a grade. I believe John once told Tirk that he was a C-, as a person.

I have to give it to Uga VI, he knows where to aim to take down bigger prey.

Anyone know anything about the replacement? Did he leave back some young pups and how do they know which one to take when they have a number from the same bloodline, etc...

This is the one of very few times I wished we had a UGA fan on board for some assistance. J/k:hihi:

i read somewhere at one time that all the uga's have been decendants of the original uga, and one generation after another of uga's sires the next one. (if that makes sense.) although i dont know i would think that vi has some pups out there.

if they havent already been, they are likely being evaluated for the temperament they will need to have to be uga vii. much roscoe was evaluated in order to become mike vi.

edit: i missed the first time that i read the article that "the lineage is secure". so there are pups, its just a matter of which one.

    RIP Uga.

For teams that use live mascots, the mascot becomes part of the family. Smokey, Uga, Mike, Tusk, etc are loved by the fans of their respective schools and their losses are difficult.

The original post also told that Freddie Fairchild was dismissed from the team, which hurt our linebacking corp. We had another linebacker get arrested over the weekend for DWI. Freddie Burton, sophomore, was picked up by police and later released on bond. It is unclear what discipline BP is going to hand down yet.

    RIP UGA....

I have a co-worker who is an UGA alumni and he said they have the next UGA ready to go.... The mascots come from Sonny Siler (sp?) famous attorney in Savannah. He became more mainstream in the movie, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil".

Does anyone know whick UGA was in that movie? (I don't know the answer)

Sad to see this... I know how it felt when I read about Mike V passing last year. I'm sure UGA fans all over feel the same as we did...

Seiler and Uga V were in that movie, he died in '99.

Seiler and Uga VI were in The Legend of Bagger Vance and The Gingerbread Man as well.
