I am personally glad people can come on here and voice their opinions and let out all the hot air they have. Well, except when it seems to be the whole forum in a turmoil. What I find particularly amusing is that people here were relying on the information posted by the owner of another forum. People were trusting it as fact. C'mon people, be realistic. Just because a little birdie on a forum named after poop chirped a rumor into your ear that doesn't mean it's 100% factual.

Funny how that "Man-thang" always comes into play. We need to make up our minds. Maybe there were other times he did "Take a deep breath" and did the right thing; maybe this one happened to be one of "Those" times you are allowing allowance for.

How is that any different than the long back and forth discussions in the Free Sports, etc.....nevermind, no need to feed this if that's the perception. :wink: People's perceptions are usually higher of themselves than others' perceptions of them and I never thought of myself as being "Popular" here, nor looked for it; however, I do have to say that such a depiction of me is quite a surprise. Re: Arrest Warant for Derrick Odem III I suppose we will eventually get the facts about what really happened but it is not the most encouraging thing for our program regardless of what comes out. Nor does it matter how many other schools also have bad publicity from their players, I still want better for my university. And being 18-22 year olds is just not an excuse. These particular students are the flagship of their school, and can do massive damage to our reputation nationwide if they don't accept the responsibility they have as scholarship athletes at LSU. Like I said, we will find out the chronology eventually, but you may consider what might anger Miles the most in this. If Odom was given an opportunity to come clean, make restitution and have this dropped as it has been alleged, I imagine Miles will be really upset that he lied to his coach after the fact and voluntarily put another black mark on the school. That may show a bit more about integrity or lack of it, than acting in the heat of the moment, and that has proved to be very important to Miles.

Here is a similar situation that did not work out quite the same. Mitchell was an OU commitment for next year.
