It is kind of refreshing to see a school like Baylor step up and keep their coach. I hope he has great success in the SWC.

He took a high school that did not make the playoffs for 40 years and won 4 state championships in 7 years. He made a suck ass Houston team a conference champion. He took one of the all time worst teams in the big 12 and they are 8-0. His team defeated the #1 Kansas St. last year.

It is a big bet but Baylor made a gamble because Texas will be looking for a coach soon. If he went there or another school, they would go back to the cellar again. They need something to be known for besides being one of the most disgusting college basketball programs ever.

Those Baptists have money. They don't spend any on booze. They can afford it.

I'm glad they locked him up with a lot of money. We won't see him in the SEC anytime soon.

I still think Baylor is cheating, in football and basketball. They were tired of being cellar dwellers, and now they are rising so fast that it's making heads spin. I predict an SMU-level scandal in the future.

OK still, Miles was in the 3 Mil range until last year.....

So you would pay a guy for being .571 at a .504 school?

They have a history in being as dirty as it gets in basketball. Maybe some of it is spilling over to the football program. If they were stealing 5* recruits from UT and OU like SMU was doing then I would think that way. But they are doing it with coaching. 1 man's system. He is brilliant.

Well, he did go to Oregon and then left because he didn't get on the field. That really happened. I am not making that up.

Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't part of Lache's recruitment involved with that Will Lyles crap?
