So you don't think that wasn't a reason he wasn't played?

I think it is. If you are suspecting foul play and the NCAA to come snooping, guess what happens if he plays and you are found guilty?

But that is on Oregon anyway. He would be clean at Baylor so I would not suspect any cheating and Baylor did not steal him from anybody.

I would for a man who has made a football relevant for the first time in 25 years.

They have 7 conference titles and zero under Art.

Explain this relevance other than some very hot QB's?

Let me go check out those 7 conference titles over the past 25 years.

    Hold up.

Well I didn't find that, but I did find that Baylor's record over the previous 12 years prior to Briles' arrival was 32-92. That's roughly 2 1/2 wins a year if you're trying to do the math.

Now let's dig a little further into his Houston Cougars record.

Houston was 32-79 in the 10 seasons prior to Briles' arrival. A program, again, left for dead.

Briles takes them to 4 bowl games over the next 5 seasons, setting them up for further success under Kevin Sumlin.

    Coincidence? I think not.
