Meh, no big deal. Probably residual from the whole USC debacle in 2003. I don't blame anyone for being skeptical of the AP and AP pollsters. Still, it wasn't a bad read. Dude was just trying to explain his vote since he seemed to totally reshuffle his top 4.

no reason to get at each other over this... I think all polls should look almost completely different every week the first 3-4 weeks or more. At least this guy, who has an audience as an AP voter, is willing to vote based off of what he's seen, and not preconceived notion on where teams 'should' be ranked. Even if you don't accept his 'poll', what's wrong with the article? Would you bitch at it the same if it was just a random blogger that didn't have an AP vote?
