Watch this dickbag. Musgrove wanted a piece of him after this. Smoltz is embarrassed for him. Douche.

Grew up a stros fan. My grandmother was their biggest fan. Even in her 80's she listened to every game on the radio, knew every stat and loved her some stros. She and I sat together in the dome when Nolan Ryan threw a no hitter. She pretended through the game it wasn't gonna happen and when it did, she cried. Was her greatest moment as a stros fan.

Never thought they would win it all. Even this season i dismissed the idea. It's the Astros, right? When it was them or the Yankees, I knew. I knew there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Little did I know that light was a party.

Houston Astros/ World Champs. How bout that shit!

Man I used to listen to milo and dierker on a handheld radio many nights when one was supposed to be sleeping.. Sometimes in the family car in the driveway late at night. Was one thing local radio did right on 1300 in baton Rouge. Baseball and radio just go together. Maybe this series brings a couple more lifelong fans to the table.

Same, my grandmother used to watch/listen to every game as well. I know she is smiling from heaven.

Carlos Correa makes 535k a year thanks to the new cba the year he was drafted. He had the lowest signing bonus of a number 1 pick in 10 years I think it was. That was 2012. He was 17 still in high school.

Looking up salaries to see where everyone is.

Bregman already makes a little more than him at 539k.

    Peacock 542k and Musgrove 543k.

    Mccullers 548k
    Giles 550k
    Devenski 555k

Thats how you build a bullpen I suppose. Pay some young arms the bare minimum and piece shit together. Even got your game 7 starter in there.

Verlander has 2 yrs left at 209m/10 yrs.

Keuchels contract is up. Someone will overpay for him.

i think they may have hooked my son.

he was already a Bregman fan of course.

but now he’s got a new hero in Altuve.
prolly because they’re both midgets that play 2B.

and he’s already got a similar haircut to Yuli. said he may add the lines to the side like him now.

was at work (plant just outside of Houston) for all 7 games.
place was an absolute ghost town during each game. i mean zero movement or sound while games were on.

last night when the final out was recorded, you could hear car horns, sirens, and yelling plus a lot of flashing lights coming from all of the plants surrounding us.

first time i’ve ever been actually in a city when their team won a title.
    was pretty cool to see.
