    I'll be the first to admit I don't know a whole lot about baseball, but this trade doesn't seem to make any sense to me. You are giving up a hell of a lot for Tejada. He isn't that good is he?

    Tejada is out for months with an injury right now.

    That would have been the steal of the century. Neither of those Astros can hit better than your average high schooler.

    dont forget the title of the thread. they were "throwing in" oswalt as well for tejada. how stupid can angelos be? he and mensa purpura are battling wits again.

    This could be a landmark trade. I'd have to look at their rosters to see what makes the least sense, but I'm sure these two can add 2+2 and get -3.

    I wouldn't be surprised to see them try to include JR Richard and Glenn Davis for Earl Weaver and Johnny Oates, so Purpura can replace Garner.

    seriously, what braintrust would offer oswalt in his prime, throw in everett's gold glove and ensberg for a decrepit tejada and possibly mora?

    then once you stomach that, you may be able to somehow fathom the other guy turns it down.

    unbelievable i tell ya.
