I hate it when people have a problem with the way other people celebrate my our the whatever team... if people want to say we won... let em... honestly why have a problem with that... makes no sense... case you didnt realize this without the fans their is no team... if fans dont go to the game that means no money that means no team in the long run... so there... and how can you tell someone who has gone to every football game for the last 10 20 30 or 60 years of his life he is not a part of LSU football... :cuss:

sorry, when I do these message board things I'm not not big on grammar and usage. There two types of people when it comes to those who want to use we and us and all that for a team.

personally I dont mind when people say "man we could use a hit here" or something like that. That is just habit. The ones who need help are those that take the loss harder than the actual players on the team. I think that is really the way sports is going nowadays. With all the big money and guaranteed contracts , it seems like teams and players just take loses easier than in the past. But, the fans who have been around take the loses extremely hard.Word to the wise, if your taking a loss harder than the players, its not worth it.

You are becoming more and more difficult to like all the time.

Once again...stop bending over backwards in an attempt to be objective. It makes you come across as an ass. You've made your point. I don't think anybody around here will ever mistake you for a homer.

Every team MUST bow down to our greatness... When it comes to LSU... no one can argue... they will just lie down and lose to us... and their fans must know this...

Take it how you want man. I'm not trying to be objective here. This is how I feel about any fans. But, this is even funnier b/c you guys are head and shoulders better than ASU yet your letting some idiots who do nothing different than what you do on here every day get to you. When you know your the best, you should just take what other people say with a grain of salt. Just let it go. But, instead you feel it necessary to go look on all these other boards to come up with stuff to talk about. I dont know why you find this offensive of hate me for it. I'm telling you, that LSU is so much better than ASU that there fans saying some stupid crap should just go in one ear and out the other.

I hate to let you know, but if LSU played Oklahoma on that one evening anywhere other than the Superdome, we probably lose!

So fans in a way ARE part of the team!

There is a reason why most teams except the Saints win more home games than away games.

I'll agree with that. Now, there are sometimes that the home team is just 100% better and the crowd really doesnt matter. I.E any LSU home game last year. But, in those tight ones like there will be this year, the crowd will have something to do with it.

    Now back to the topic:

There is a big difference between being a confident fan and just a... prick...

    Here is a good example:

Iowa- Sure they beat us, and they talked their smack, but at the end of the day, they let go of it and just let it be.

Auburn- They beat us one time, and we hear about it for the next 12 months, even though we own them in EVERY other sport...

The best fans in the SEC besides us are probably Florida fans... They talk their big game etc... but they all seem to understand the big picture, which is that 1 game is big and important, but it is just 1 piece of a 12 piece puzzle.

I would DEFINETLY have to disagree with you on the 2nd best fans in the SEC.

    Theres no way its florida...

I have met waay to many florida fans and let me tell you, the majority are not exactly graceful.

Ill go out and say the second best fans in the conference are Georgia fans.

They have always been really cool to hang out with at games, and very hospitable. Win or lose, its still just a game to them, and they let it go.
