In Tempe we have blackout friday's. All football players must wear black shirt and shorts to attend any meetings or lift sessions on those days. it adds a little flair and gets everyone jacked for saturday. (not that it's needed) The all black jerseys will be worn for our black out game vs Mizzou on Sept. 9th!
Not with the wicker material type unis they make today. We've (coaches) worn black ones in June/July/August in Louisiana and were not the slightest bit hotter than anyone else, in fact, more comfortable than those in cotton.
I agree... They say the same thing about the color of cars, that black cars are hotter. Like you get in a white car that's been in the sun for four hours and say..."Man, It's cool in here."
