Don't tell Casey Clausen that during the UF/UT game in 2002

Opening toss is 50/50, the game will be notice to the nation (national media spin) Arizona State is ill-equipped for high humidity. LSU early and often.

yeah...LSU doesn't usually play football during hurricanes buddy. Rain and sloppy conditions do affect gameplay. Another thing, I bet that we'll be in the white jerseys for ASU. Those purple ones should be saved for homecoming games.

...Am I the only one that thinks we play better in white??

Arizona State is a ranked team. Under the right circumstances (key injury, turnovers, bad luck, sloopy play, poor officiating, etc) LSU could lose to a ranked team that is on top of their game.

I wouldn't put my money on it, though. Still, ASU is a team to be respected. This ain't our usual out-of-conference opponent.

We may be in white, but the choice is ASU's. Like OSU last year, they may want white due to the early season game.

If they make us play in purple, then I say go for two when it is 60-0.

After unleashing "Air Attack Geaux" in 2005 and smothering NT in a 50+ point shut out with LSU playing all three QBs (all three lead scoring drives), LSU will be a prohibitive favorite against ASU at home in BR. Poor one-dimensional ASU without a respectable rushing attack will fall victim to LSU's fast and swarming defense. Their offense will not move the ball with any consistency, but will complete a few passes and make a few first downs. Their scrappy defense will hang tough for a while but will be victimized by a murderous passing game that scores quickly on big plays to take the wind from their sails. It will be 24-3 at halftime, with LSU rolling on to 40+ points in the game using an additional QB in the 4th quarter after the outcome has long been decided. The radio call in boards will light up with hundreds of calls ALL ASKING WHY LSU NEVER OPENED UP THE AIR ATTACK IN 2004. Talk will turn to the Tennessee game after Tennessee's earlier upset of Florida in Urban's SEC debut in Gainesville by a score of 34-21. The callers will claim that the LSU WR corps needs a nickname and the pregame anticipation will be at an alltime high for the Tennessee game, as it will be the first time since the 50's that two Top 5 teams met in Tiger Stadium. Tennessee takes the opening kickoff and :hihi: (that's for a later post). Final score, LSU 41, ASU 10

:geauxtige LSU! :champs: :helmet: :geauxtige  :champs: :helmet: :crystal:

I totally disagree. When I was at LSU in the mid 80s the Tigers had to wear purple and did quite well I might add. I love the purple jerseys, I think they look great. One of the greatest things I think Nick Saban did was to CRUSH all of those old, tired, bullcrap excuses of why LSU didn't play well....purple jerseys, day games, on TV...etc. For LSU to be a Top Tier program it doesn't matter if the Tigers play at 10 a.m., on every network known to man, on the moon and in pink jerseys...once the whistle blows it's time to play ball and the only people who need excuses are LOSERS!

Stupid questions deserve stupid answers. The answer that this question deserves is "Because Marcus Randall sucks, moron!" The fact that Rick Clausen even sniffed the field in 2002 should have turned on the lightbulb for you.

Good quarterbacks don't one-hop screens and throw three interceptions against Troy State at home.

Saban's situation was complicated all the more by
    1) J. Russ's attitude in 2004 (verified lack of playbook knowledge and practice effort by the HC)
    2) poor coaching in the Auburn game
    3) Jamarcus' performance on the road at Florida

What else needs to be said except ASU will be talking about how the Tigers are as good as Usuck was the last two years. And that will piss everybody off cause we know the Tigs are much better. :thumb: :thumb:
