Look, I'll give Ole Miss credit for a well played game. They played fired up the whole game. LSU tried to give this one away with mistakes and poor judgement on the offense. Kudos to the LSU defense. This will be judged as a classic in the LSU/Ole Miss series.
Ole Miss is a very good football team. At least one of their fans (you) is an asshole. I gained a lot of respect for the football team but I have no respect for anybody with your attitude coming here and demanding respect a few minutes after a great game. You don't get respect by demanding it. You get respect by earning it the way a good football team with a classless fan did today.
The center did trip Eli because of the pass rush. He was getting badly beat, and I doubt eli would have gotten anything good off, if anything at all.
Bah they're defense played better than 90% of us thought they would. Mauck looked like crap but he had defenders in his face all day.
Old Miss never had a chance against our defense. Repeat, no chance. Eli was treated like LSU treats all q.b.'s. Old Missy is lucky Mauck was asleep today or LSU would have beat old missy like they beat Allbarn and Bama.
I agree. Their "D" stepped it up a notch and played way over their heads, given the talent mismatch. They kept Ole Miss in the game. They're to be congratulated on that display of heart.
OK, I give the Ole Miss Rebels full credit for playing an outstanding football game. You are right. The Rebel defense played WAY better than I thought they would. In fact, I'll have to say that both defenses played way better than I expected. If LSU can't beat the Hogs on Friday, then Ole Miss deserves the trip to Atlanta. :geaux: :lsug:
