Did we go to your board and say anything bad about Bama? No. No one is on your friggin' back.

We're here doing what we do in the off season. We're dissecting every early prediction that comes along. This week it's Bama's turn. Next week it will be someone else.

So get with the plan and contribute an idea . . . or just read and be quiet. But, don't come here and shake your finger at us. If candid discussion and cocky banter on a rival board makes you upset, then you are too damn sensitive to be lurking SEC boards. It'll take years off your life.

I saw a lot of Croyle's first two seasons and I guess I am the only one who doesn't see this glaring potential.

He could very well be a good QB next year but his first few years were not that insanely great potential wise, imo.

I actually like Brodie, seems to be a fairly good QB and has a good head on his shoulders.

who was the bama quarterback a few years ago? He was a fith year senior when he left, and never accomplished squat! Bama has a way of holding on to and trying to develop average quarterbacks into great ones to the point of obsesion. I call it the Tannyhill syndrome.

Brodi Croyl+Tannyhill=5 years of SEC mediocrity.

I agree, and I don't think anyone who thinks Bama wll win 7-8 games is expecting him to be a great QB, just average or a little better.

He is a good kid with tremendous character.

If Croyle plays the whole season, he will lead the league in passing efficiency...

How can you say that, or better yet what evidence is there of that? He has yet to make it into the meat of the conference schedule. I could go in and complete 80% of my passes against Arkansas St., but that does not mean I have what it takes to maintain that against the big boys

That's a pretty sure statment you made there. I'd be willing to bet a few bucks that won't happen myself. If he plays against SEC teams this year I expect his eff. rating to be around 125-135 or so.
