    Who's in?

I'm going and I'd like to meet up with some of you saps.

I'm staying out by the airport and will be arriving on Thursday to get the party started. We'll be taking the MARTA into town to rock out with the proverbial sock out.

    ROLL CALL!

Be careful on the Marta between the airport and downtown. It goes through some rough neighborhoods.

We're going. Driving the day of the game though so should be interesting. Probably will just spend the night on MARTA after the game.

Don't get me wrong; you won't get murdered. I used to ride the train to the airport at 5 AM every week. Just be alert at all the stops between Five Points and the airport. These include East Point, College Park, Ft. McPhearson, and Oakland City. I would not recomend getting off the train after dark at any of these spots.

Also if you miss the Dome stop when heading West I would not switch trains in Vine City.

My favorite bbq stand is right around the airport. It is called Hambones. It is only open for lunch, and is a hole in the wall. It is on the back side of a liqour store. It is on Virginia Ave. Ask the hotel folks for directions.

Also on Virginia Ave. is Nicks Grecian, which makes awesome gyros. The line ie usually around the block, which is saying something given the area.

You could drive or take a cab to either of these places.

Another place you may want to try is on Memorial Blvd. It is a seafood place that overlooks a cemetary. It is called Six Feet Under. One of the best places in Atlanta.
You would have to drive or take a cab there.
