2 amazing things i take from the article: 16-25 from the free throw...that had to be a bad night for him. I know he was a solid FT shooter in the NBA. And the remark about not having a 3 point rule. Pete would have averaged probably 47-48 points per game had their been a 3 point rule.
With a 3 point line Pete would have averaged making 7 or 8 of them per game just based on how many shots he took from outside the present day 3 point line. Some games he would have had 12 or 15. His average would have been closer to 52 or 53 points a game.
