I know what you meant cajdav, I just don't see why Broyles would ok this if neither team can fill up their home stadiums, and Auburn is a poor traveler.
We only do it because it pisses people off. I don't do it on my "home" site. Only here and sometimes at the Bama site I wreak havoc on.
Our sports talk radio is saying this. ESPN has rights to any game offered on PPV. So if the game is aired on PPV, ESPN can pick it up for free on one of their extra sports packages. If folks can watch it on their ESPN packages, then they won't pay for it on PPV, and so there is less revenue going to the university. I'm not sure if I even understand this, but this is what our "drive time sports talk" guys are saying on the radio.
It's only showed on ESPN's extended packages. Like a package where you buy all NFL games from direct TV. It's a special option that not many people have or want to pay for.
