Stick to your guns Chuck.. ;)

I still have LSU 2001 SEC champions as my wallpaper on my desktop...
I have a hard time letting go. I am in therapy...

A lot of Auburn fans need therapy after last Saturday, myself included. But hey, the season kicks off AGAIN this Saturday for us against GT!! Wreck Tech!! :D

Wasn't AU on probation that year though?

That was the year of LSU's NC.

Auburn's was 1957 - and yes, we were on probation.

Hypothetical: What would happen in Auburn if Ga Tech pulled off the upset? Highly unlikely, but would total meltdown ensue?

    yes . .total absolute meltdown . .

I think the frustration would be that we obviously have the talent (proved that last year) and that the coaches MUST recognize how badly they are screwing that up.

You know Chuck it has to be pretty hard on a team (regardless of what team) to come into the season with high expectations for themselves compounded by the media's hype. An opening loss like that can truly test your worth. A short time to get off the mat and get things together. Just a gut feeling, this game against Ga Tech will say a whole lot in how Auburn performs the rest of the season.

I wouldn't wish a 2nd loss in a row on the Auburn guys. I know how I'd feel and it saps your enthusiasm for the whole season. I have to admit, though, it would be sadistic fun reading the WEN board.

I agree Hub . .it would be tough.

I really want to see our boys pull it together this weekend.
