You hit the nail on the head. I have been saying the same thing somehwhat in Vaughn's defense. If LSU makes either of those catches, Vaughn wouldn't even be attempting those kicks. Just as much blame should go toward the whole offense for not being able to score TDs when they had the chances.

Maybe more compelling if your spelling was better.

"Now here is the tricky part. 9 - 7 = 2. We should have beat you by 2. If you add back our dropped TD, we win by 9. (remember that is 7 fingers and 2 toes.)"

Didn't we also miss a couple of field goals? By your logic, should we not also add another six points for LSU?

I'm sure you've considered cause and effect, meaning that if AU does make a field goal or catch a touchdown pass (or vice-versa for LSU,) it changes the entire complexion of the game, changes strategies, and changes what happens next, right?

If saying that AU "dominated" LSU helps you sleep better, then good for you. I'll take the W, whether anybody thinks we dominated or not.

As is usually the case with this rivalry, it's a toss up as to who will win and strange and unpredictable things usually happen (see LAST YEAR.) We were lucky to have fate on our side this year, and I'll take it.

Furthermore, it's extremely insensitive of you to disregard the members of our board who have lost countless toes while trying to feel around with their feet for alligator snapper turtles in the swamps. I'm sure I speak for all of them when I say, Shame on You.

Now go beat Bama 3-0, fall back in love with your kicker, and have a nice Peach Bowl.

I did and still don't see our students making pictures of a player being hung from a poll or "idiot" stamped across their player picture.

Ask Jamie Howard how he was treated after the Auburn loss. Or Josh Booty after the UAB loss.

You're more full of crap than a Port-O-Let.

Auburn played really well and really hard. I don't think anyone would argue that. But to say you dominated offensively and defensively is ridiculous. Your offense stacked the box with extra guys in order to make running lanes, and our D let you have the run in order to defend the pass. When our D wanted to stop the run we did (see defensive stands in the red zone). I'm not going to waste time going into anymore b/c it's past time for me to go to lunch, but to say that either team "dominated" the other is ridiculous. This was a very hard faught, and suprisingly evenly matched game, with the better team coming out on top.

Of course if you really want to use your ignorant hypothetical math method, check this out.

We had 1 wide open TD pass dropped in the endzone, and 2 missed field goals in regulation. = 13 points.
You had 4 missed field goals in regulation. =12 points.
So even with the "what if's" we still win.

You have a very good team and should be a force in the SEC for years to come.

Now take the compliments, shut up and go away.
