The auburn players know who really won that game, hell half their team is still recovering from that game.
The media always is hyping them up, maybe cuz they feel bad that they got left out in 04? But Auburn seemingly is always overrated.

AU hasn't looked good all year. I don't know why the media loves them so much. Besides the fact that their coach is a complete idiot, their QB is HORRIBLE, only have Irons on O, and their D is nothing to lose sleep over. LSU beat the living crap out of them, but because of the refs and our ineptness, we got the loss.

 

I was just thinking that after that game I thought LSU and Auburn had to be
the best 2 teams in the SEC.
Auburn certainly haven't played very well since that game.
I can't wait til the Iron bowl next week, how well will Bama and AU play in this
game?

Remember when we looked at the AU schedule after the AU loss and tried to
figure if there was anyway LSU could still go to SEC CG?
Well, it happened, like we said!
We have to win out, we contol our own destiny.
We beat Bama, Ole Miss, Arkansas and we go to Atlanta to beat the Gators.

 

Heck, even two hours ago, Lou "spit on everyone" Holtz had AU playing in the SECCG. That homer is such a complete AZZ!!!

 

I guess it depends who's ears are listening. We find little love because Tubs is always calling out ESPN and the BCS.

That said, we have struggled all year, and could very well be in bama's shoes right now. We won the close games, and that was why we were ranked highly. It is hard not to rank a SEC team with one loss in the top 10, Arky's situation is acknowledged.

AU (Brandon) hasn't recovered from the LSU game, the team has flaws, but is capable of playing a very violent game. When they focus, they can still be good. As the song says:

I ain't as good as I once was
But I'm as good once as I ever was
