Would be super if we cancel this weekend. Logistically, how do you get all the gear and folks to AL in the wake of a cat 4 hurricane? There's no way to get the game on this weekend. But honestly, even if the LSU team and coaches could make it there, there would be little fan support - and I don't like that. LSU always travels well, and not having our fans there will not be good for the team. Also, a sloppy track is bad news for LSU and an equalizer for a slower, less talented AU team. I do not see how it is all up to AU. LSU has to have an equal say in this and if the team cannot get there safely, then the game should be moved. The game will be played, just a little later. Plus, LSU will have a a good break to get folks healed up and the schedule is a lot more manageable with AU sliding to Nov. 6th. What a great game that will be! If AU is as good as they think they are, and LSU is as good as I think they are, the SECW will be on the line. AU will have more time to find a receivers who can catch and LSU will have more time to develope its QB situation. Move the game now folks!
Our WRs can catch. Your QBs are terrible. I watched an overrated Jamarcus in highschool at Williamson and never understood the hype.
That's understandable. You've already demonstrated thru your posts that you know nothing about football. Don't look now, but Ivan's knocking at your door, Cochise. :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:
...but your QB can't throw... ...but our RB's are AWESOME... ...but if he was yours he'd be starting before Campbell...
Auburn's back-up QB is better than Jamarcus. Jamarcus threw swings passes in the flats and wr screens his entire highschool career. He never threw downfield.
Ben Obumanu has great hands (Ole mIss last year??) Auburn has a couple of good things going for it - its backs and a decent dee. LSU's talent level is superior to AU - even at QB. You have a guy in Campbell who is about as talented as M Randall. I like Randall and he is a threat to do a couple of things, but he is nowhere near as talented as JaMarcus. AU's recruiting has been poor, its coaching has been suspect and its alumni supporters have undermined the coach's authority. The worst days are ahead for AUburn. That being said, there is still enough talent on AU's team to beat LSU if LSU doesn't play its best game and AU does.
It is an injustice that such a horrible quarterback was given the honor of being Alabama's Mr. Football. Taking tongue out of cheek, have you seen any of the touchdown passes he has thrown this year? They are very very far from being either swing passes or wr screens.
Look at his completion %. It is below 50%. He was like 9/26 against OSU who was blown out by Boise St.
