Atleast AZ had the balls to admit they thought their team was gonna lose. More than I can say for Auburn fans. . .
What reason is there for Auburn or LSU fans to think they won't win the game? Both teams are loaded. This game is going to be a dog fight.
When you get down to it, the polls are more of a general reflection these are good teams, but on any given Sat. does it mean that, take last year, USC was better than Tx. all season long, until they got on a field and actually played the game, then we saw Tx. had the X-factor in Vince Young that separated them from everyone else. They didn't dominate USC, who also had a powerful team, but Tx. was a little bit better team. Polls never reflected it, it had to won on the field. So, Auburn is 4, LSU is 6. To me it means both are very good clubs and well coached. It will be decided on the field. May the best team win (mine of course :geauxtige ). But, I'll tell you, after all these years, I don't often get these feelings, but I feel a pattern changing (home team wins a close one) victory for LSU. I like this team.
At least MSU and Washington State fans had the balls to admit they thought their team was going to lose. More than I can say for LSU fans. See how dumb your line of reasoning sounds?
I'll keep my prediction at LSU 31-17. I think this LSU team has the potentional to be better than the 2003 team. The only matchup issue that worries me is playing at AU. I like every mano-a-mano matchup in the game in LSU's favor. I am more looking forward to this game than worried about it. Very confident. Letting my weekend winnings ride and doubling down on LSU, not matter what the spread is.
