heck, Tennessee fans openly lauded the recruiting prowess of their recruiting hostesses, don't think there aren't Auburn fans who do the same. and no doubt numerous SEC fans have suggested that the recruiting hostesses of other schools like Tennessee engage in hanky-panky, don't think aren't Auburn fans who do the same

Just because Tennessee has done something doesn't mean Auburn has done the same. That would be the same as saying everyone that D.J. McCarthy recruited other than Akiem Hicks should be considered guilty of recruiting violations and thrown off the team.

Maybe closer to home, how would you feel if you had a daughter on the high school cheerleading team being accused of sleeping with a football coach because another cheerleader was seen hugging that coach in the parking lot at Walmart?

Let the FACTS speak for themselves rather than assuming that because one school or person did something, a similar program at another school is doing the same.

If the NCAA investigates it and finds significant violations then, by all means, close it down and serve me a big plate of crow. Until then, don't disparage the reputations of young ladies who are simply participating in a university approved program, supporting their team and having the college experience that many of us wish we could have had.

I was at LSU during the early 80s and I'm jealous of the experience my daughter and LSU students have been able to have with a NC team. :thumb:

I think programs like the Tigerettes and the other hostess programs really degrade the dignity of women and such programs need to be abolished everywhere because they are downright sinful !!!!!

(Have you seen the latest post on Bud Lee's Boobie thread?....OMG !!! see you there bro. :yelwink2:)

There is a big difference between cheering and "entertaining recruits", making sure they have a good time. If you don't want people to believe you show your tits for money you might not want to work at a strip club. JMO

Yep, thats it really. If the article was bogus I'm sure we will be able to follow the law suit, but if there is no suit and instead just a bunch of auburn fans complaining about how people think these girls are being treated unfairly..... Yeah, uh huh. Sure they were.

I'm sorry if I am not going to shed a tear for these ladies. These are hot females who will probably never have to work a day in their lives. If they didn't want the scrutiny, they wouldn't be doing what they are doing. Pardon me if I am not sympathetic. There is no way in HELL I WOULD EVER ALLOW MY DAUGHTER do what these girls do.

You are entitled to your opinion, but you don't know what you are talking about.

FACT: My daughter maintains a 3.95 GPA, is an officer for a local charitable organization and starts pharmacy school in the fall.

FACT: on Saturday, she went to the football stadium a few hours before kickoff, gave tours of the facility to the recruits and the parents, brought them cokes and food.

FACT: When the game was over, the recruits went one way and she went another.

FACT: She didn't even sit with the players during the games. She stood right next to the tunnel or on the field in the end-zone most of the game, high-fived the players on their way to the field and then again after they won.

FACT: She was not drunk in the stands or had some drunk kid hanging all over her during the games.

FACT: She never met a player out anywhere, she was not texting players, talking to them on the phone or emailing them - ever.

FACT: She was trained by Auburn to avoid any contact with them that was not sanctioned by NCAA rules, so she went to great lengths to avoid them off the field, including a kid she knew from her high school.

Stick to the FACTs ma'am! :yelwink2:

I wouldn't want my daughter doing it either regardless of whether it was Auburn or LSU,etc.. All you have to do is look at the pictures. They are hanging on the recruits. When the recruits take pictures with them they have their arms around the girls. Are some guys going to want a little more contact with the girls if they can get it? I think they are. Has any female in the entire history of these organizations obliged a recruit or been groped without consent? I would put money on that bet. Maybe I'm old school, but I don't think the girls should be touched.

If it's just showing them around and giving them cookies with no sexual innuendo where are all the fat ugly chicks? Surely some of them are big football fans too. Sex sells it's just a fact of life. There is nothing bad about that. However using young beautiful women to entice a recruit to sign the line is indeed sleazy whether anything actually happens or not. I'm not accusing the AU girls of anything, although it's obvious that it goes much farther in some cases around the nation. The fact is it is a sleazy practice period.

Uhh, TT fat ugly chicks can't sing country music anymore either....at least not since the days of digital recording, digital mixing, and other forms of "Milli Vanilling". :yelwink2:

(By the way, Scott....sounds like you should be proud of your daughter. :thumb:)
