yeah, if wishes were fishes we'd all be eating trout. I'm calling BS. Bama fans have heard about the Got 12? nonsense for so long they're beginning to believe their own horse____. Here's all you need to know about this Saturday's Iron Bowl. Alabama has never once beaten Auburn at Brian-Dennehy Stadium , never, nada, zilch, zero, negative ....... ever. It's our turf, we own it. So listen up Bama fans ...... the rent is past due and we're coming to collect it on Saturday. and we won't be accepting a check this time either. So borrow some cash from your recruits and get ready to pay your debt. All kidding aside, this will be the best chance Bama has to beat Auburn in the past 7 seasons. For you bettors, stay away from this one, it could easily go either way and by a lot more than the current spread. Auburn is injured, tired, and exposed. Muschamp's system takes awhile to become second-nature, and the Auburn personnel (3 DC's in last 3 seasons) aren't there yet. Bama is quite capable of executing the very same gameplan used by Richt to exploit AU's deficiencies, and they have the personnel to do it. Wilson is as good of a quarterback as I've seen at Alabama in quite awhile, and he has a nice touch on the deep ball that shows confidence in his receivers. If the Auburn defense steps up and plays like they did against LSU and UF, then Bama will be toast and the streak will continue. If they don't, and bama is able to get out of the gates to an early lead, then IMO Auburn will be in trouble and I'll be switching to hard-liquor. The Auburn offense is not built for come-from-behind points, it is built to utilize a running game to play keep-away and apply steady, continuous pressure to opposing defenses. Auburn's Special teams could be the decisive difference. They had their only bad performance of the season against UGA, so look for AU's ST unit to rebound and have a good day. I hear they have a little surprise for Shula this season. Auburn 16 Bama 13
