By the looks of their cover, I'm thinking there may not be a full set of balls on the entire team... :hihi:

You're like the little boy who cried wolf! How many times have you announced that, "this will be my last post," by now? 17, 18?

You're such a wet blanket around here, it's unreal...You throw in comments that are so unbelievably unnecessary they border on idiotic...No, take that back, they are idiotic?

They don't need anymore straws here at Tiger Forums...I'm here year round, FightinTIGER did a good job during the Saban departure, and ramah was a well documented and lamentable piece of Tiger Forums historical lore...What purpose do you feel you serve with your presence, and more to the point, your comments?

You have had the audacity here to try to enter into the Brady discussion and act as if you're an impartial observer or commentator-immediately after admitting that you've met him and consider him to be a "personal and family friend". You castigate LSU fans at every turn, only to mock incredulity when they react poorly to the castigation? You continually get shown to be an absolute intellectual lightweight in any sports conversation amongst anyone other than Blake Andrews, yet whine over and over that you're, "pretty good for an 18 year old"? You get huffy and puffy and pout about posting your last and leaving the Forum as a contributing poster, only to resurface to spew your ignorance and quasi-sports knowledge related pestilence upon an unwanting membership who never requests or solicits it from you...

You admit here in posts that your ultimate goal in your "vocation" coattailed from your industry-wide famous family member is to use LSU fans and this market as a stepping stone towards greater personal and professional glory, all the while telling us that the invective you spray at us we should be okay with and digest and be happy with?

Let me reiterate what Jean Lafitte told you the other night....Drop the "S" from your username...That about sums up your future prospects....

P.S.-->Do yourself a favor, and answer this question yourself, without tapping out some ridiculous response? How many opportunities that might have been afforded to individuals with far more talent, sweat equity invested, and genuine love for this area were arrested in order to give you your idiotic pulpit to display your stupidity on the airwaves based on your last name and your "fambily connections"?

    Get lost, loser!

Having said all that, this shouldn't be news flashes for any of us around here...it's called publication/periodical marketing...

OK. I simply stated that Green looks thuggish in the pic. It was an OPINION. It's not ok for me to have the opinion that Green looked like a thug, yet it's ok for you guys to brand these UT guys as thugs. Again, you guys take something I'm saying so far out of context that it's humorous. I understand that there have been some issues at UT. Speaking of thugs, how about the talk around town that some of your boys kicked the **** out of someone after the spring game? That is not thuggish though. What was I thinking? But, were these guys involved? I apologize the fact that who my dad is has me on the radio. If I were in love with LSU like you guys you'd think I was the greatest think since sliced bread. But, since I'm not, you use that as your measuring stick for what I know and how much talent I have. That is pretty sad. Again, I'm not going to let the fact that TE may not like me or you guys on here may not like me make me think I dont have any talent. If everyone let the opinions of 10 people bother them, we'd all be screwed.:geauxtige

    Talent?

Dude, you host a one hour radio show with Blake Andrews I would not brag about it. Even Buddy Songy and Jimmy Ott laugh at how "sCRAPPY" your show is.......

I find it funny you have to play a role of mr. neg to get more than 4 callers a day.

If I'm getting laughed at by buddy songy and jimmy ott i'm not going to lose sleep over it. I mean sure my show isnt buddy's show. My friends dont call in every day and stroke my ego and carry on 40 minute convo's about the waitress at Sullivans. Damn, I need to work on that.

scrappy...Post the Arbitrons, big guy...Post the advertising bottom lines...

You have a fundamental misunderstanding of what it is you're doing. You are selling. Everything everyone does that isn't a civil service employee is basically selling themselves everyday.

Selling your boss to make sure he doesn't fire you. Selling your customers to make sure they buy what it is you offer. Selling yourself to management to get that promotion. Selling an excuse to your wife for going and staying out all night.

In your situation, your goal is to use this area as a catapult to bigger and better things-in your mind. By stating this to our website for all to read, you display a total ignorance of how to sell yourself. Why would you ever tell people that you depend on for ratings, for advertising revenue, for success, and for your future endeavors, that you didn't care about what it is that they care about? How will that breed success?

In other words, most successful people will sell themselves to the area, learn and absorb every media guide they can, develop and cultivate close relationships with other media personalities, as well as connections with LSU in order to be able to serve their listenership as well as humanly possible.

See, that's the mark of a good salesman. Do you excel at providing people with what it is that they want? Buddy used to (Though his show is more infomercial than Sportstalk now, though during football season, his show is pretty stocked and fluff-free), and Ott has never been what I would call a success (Though his sportsbook is, & his daddy sure did help him out, too!).

Why in the world would you want to run a distant third to those guys? Why not work towards doing what it is that will win you listeners, win you fans, win your ADVERTISERS?

Or, maybe the reason you take such an antagonistic view towards the LSU fan populace is simply because you know that your last name hasn't run out of value yet. You're probably just cutting your teeth before that last name of yours puts you in a different market.

I finally figured it out...You're the Kaare Johnson of Baton Rouge!

    Mediocrity, thy name is (s)Crappy!

Ok, lets get the Arbitrons. They wont show us the actual arbitrons for the particular hours, but if they did I'd be willing to bet that our show is right up there with theres if not ahead. Just mark my word there. Also, that thing about a stepping stone and all that .I said that b/c I was angry that particular day. I believe it was you who had ticked me off if im not mistaken. I've since refracted. I apologize for making that stupid statement out of anger. Having said that, I'm not going to turn myself into an LSU love fest so I can be like Buddy. Thats a joke. You guys want to say I have not talent, then what's he got? haha Oh and another thing, last time I did get to see the books, Jon Fine, yes the mighty Fine was actually ahead of your beloved Buddy. I could also do without all the last name stuff. I know I wont get away from it but its old.

    Why should I?

I hate to make stupid statements, too! Especially typing refracting instead of retracting! LOL!

So, if you sold cars for Cadillac, would you refuse to sell Catera's because another salesman sold Cateras? Would you refuse to sell Mother of Pearl Escalades because someone else was already selling them and was successful? Give me a break.

No one is asking you to be like Buddy. We have all espoused that we have issues with his infomercial-esque style. What we are telling you to do is how to be successful. Straight up. YOUR CUSTOMER BASE IS TELLING YOU WHAT WE WANT, AND YOU ARE TOO STUPID TO REALIZE IT. I HOPE ANY FUTURE EMPLOYERS THAT ARE WATCHING DO NOT READ THIS IDIOCY COMING FROM YOU RIGHT NOW!

We don't want to say you have no talent. We are saying you have no talent. What he's got on you is age, experience, and an UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT HIS AUDIENCE WANTS! As for saying he's beloved, who said that? You did, not me.

    Dismissed, dunce.

Ok, explain to me what that whole thing about "we dont want to say you have no talent. We are saying you have no talent". That means? What does his audience want? Obviously it must want blind homerism and long talks about waitresses and 30 minutes of inside jokes that no one gets?
