the ea nerd programmer can only do so much. those matchstick-sized goalposts are pretty awesome though.
Its hard to tell, some things just don't look right (west upper deck, light through portals, etc...), but not too many people can get the Drum Major Box in the right place.
Are you people serious? Just look at the field...Tiger Stadium numbers every 5 yards, not every 10. There is no way that's a real picture.
Interesting point. I never really thought to think about the sun's position in that pic, but your observation made me go back and look at the pic again... and there is a big shadow in the east nosebleed (on the very right side of the pic) like the sun is setting in the south. That big light source from the NE could simply just be the result of the glow of human electricity.
Looks like the sun is setting in the southwest.Except for the goalpost the pic looks authentic to me.
That still wouldn't be right. Speaking from a blinding, frustrating, and suicide-inducing experience, at the Saints/Dolphins game in the Valley, I can vouch fro the fact that approx 2 minutes after the sun goes behind the west upper giving everyone a sigh of relief, that sonofabitch peeks back out to the North Side and cooks the miserable crowd even farther.
"Farther" relates to distance. "Further" is a definition of degree. i learned this from the black kid in finding forrester with sean connery. figured id pass it along. yes the sun is brutal in early games. just one more reason to hate them.
