    Excerpt:

When the fifth LSU team coached by Saban reports this morning for meetings and dorm assignments for preseason camp, the Tigers will hear their coach say -- for about the 1,000th time -- that the BCS national championship of 2003 was the product of focusing on the process, not on the desired outcome.

They'll also hear him say 2003 is history. In 2004, the Tigers begin, he'll say, at the beginning. Ground zero. Base camp, not the mountaintop.

The Tigers have 29 scheduled practices, the first of which is planned for 3 p.m. Monday, before opening the season at 5 p.m. Sept. 4 against Oregon State in Tiger Stadium. Before you enter Death Valley, before you take the first big steps back up the mountain, you toil and sweat in the valley.

Hey Tejas, regarding that avatar, what is your drink of choice? I am sure it's not kool-aid.
