No, the issue is if anyone says ANYTHING derogatory about the head coach or anyone on the team you fucking jock sniffers come along in droves and tell us we hate LSU. Well you moron if that was the case we wouldn't care. The fact of the matter is we do and we know more about football than what we read in the Sunday paper.
We said Welter was not as good as Beckwith for how long? Everyone said we "must know more than the coaches" etc. Tag as Miles haters etc. Then, Beckwith starts 5 games in. Doesn't mean we hate the kid or wish him i'll, but the blind homer-ism that all LSU players are prefect and the coaches do not make mistakes is insane. At the same time, we ALL acknowledge the D'line Stunk for 4 games. yet, as a DL, its harder to pinpoint terrible play singularly. QB's, LB's, CB, etc are all high profile.
What in my post would have you surmise that? I care about rankings because I believe the players should be recognized for their accomplishments. I care about a better ranking because it gets us in a better bowl game and is more attractive to recruits.
