1. Please!

  2. What would you be doing. You remember when someone said you can't make a silk purse out of a pig's ear. Well, this pig has two ears. Now what do you do? You have someone looking for a QB.

    Pleaseee.:miles:
  3. Do you really think there was a drop off....I happen to recall that Matt Flynn fella WON a national title. We were blessed to have two very productive QBs..feast or famine I guess.
  4. I'm with you. I meant please as in please find someone who can play QB! Three years of this enough!

  5. Irrelevant, point is LSU fans are Quarterback cry babies.

Since you brought it up though, even myself who would like to give J Lee a shot, we have nothing to indicate to us it would be an upgrade. Which is what SF's thread is about.
  6. Well, damn, I thought I had a good point. Have your novelty and I'll have my reason! :thumb:

Seriously, I think we're in the same situation as we were and the fans aren't really wrong. When you play one QB and only one QB, of course we're going to want to see the other guy when the guy on the field is struggling. You've called for Lee yourself!
  7. Sorry. I was hoping you had a miracle out there.:miles:

  8. A long history? There are instances for sure: Booty/Davey, Jefferson/Lee, Loup/Howard, Ensminger/Woodley, Randall/Russell. On the other hand Tittle, Rabb, Amedee, Stokley, Hillman, Jones (yes, I know he platooned), Risher, Wickersham, Hodson, Tyler, Mauck, Flynn, Davey, and Russell enjoyed fan support. I'm not trying to argue your point about the backup being popular, I just don't remember it being a big part of LSU history. Perhaps my memory is selective.

  9. Not exactly. I don't object to giving him a look but I'm very pessimistic about any improvement. I'd love to be wrong.
  10. You are right, a recent history of it would have been more accurate. Your post made me wonder something. Why can't we have 3 year starters anymore? Not sure if people realize just what a turnover at the QB position we've had in the last decade. Even Chad Loupe started for two years. Jamie Howard had more way more INT's than TD's and started for 4 years.
