Backpacks in Tiger Stadium

    Perhaps its because you look like Fred Flintstone. Yeah the lines are long when we go in at 30 minutes before kickoff, but they usually just wave me through. They asked me to open my binocular case once. Nothing close to a pat-down. And I've always got my whiskey, I must just look like a citizen. :grin:

    Or maybe it's because my wife is pregnant this season and they think she's sneaking booze in under her shirt. :grin:

    Not necessarily, mine was confiscated for Fresno State.

    Is that all they do if they catch you with something?

    I don't normally carry a purse to games, but I am thinking I am to this one, I am thinking I am sneaking something in. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

    I usually make it up to East upper seats right before the band or after the first drive depending on how many drinks I pound down. I have never been checked and they wave me right along.

    thanks for all the input guys...but i'm not trying to sneak liquor in, i'll have a backpack with me all day before the game with nowhere to keep it outside the stadium.

    I had an EMPTY backpack, everyone had their ponchos on. Really P*ssed me off because women were walking in with huge purses and they weren't even checked. They guy I was politely speaking very loud to called in some reinforcements so I dropped the issue. Didn't want my two kids to see me get arrested !
