Suffered another concussion in practice and will likely be done with football for good.

He had a really bad one last year that moved him out of the running for the #3 WR spot and he was headed for that spot once again this year.

Must be very hard to swallow and I wish him the best.

Bad news indeed, I also wish him and his family the best. Lots of young talent on the team, someone will have to step up.

I feel really bad for him. I hope he's ok. I can't imagine how he must be feeling.

Good luck Chris - take care of your self.

Question - Does LSU have a formal program for kids like this to stay in school on scholership? I remember the stories last year about how some schools had these and some schools abused them, allegedly. (cough cough TUSK). Shocking to think Saban would be involved in something bordering on rule breaking.

A Medical Hardship Waiver will allow him to remain on scholarship at LSU.

Yes, I hope coach Miles understands that there is a program for the walking wounded who just can't seem to go on. There are also programs for the attrition challenged as well. Some of these evaluations can last until spring time has sprung.

All in all, to surmise, "the early bird gets the worm," "patience is a virtue," and never forget the immortal words of that great Alabamian, Satchel Paige, "Don't look back, something might be gaining on you."
